This morning, Sylvia Matt get one message from Natalie Porman. Natali wants to meet Sylv. Finally, they are meet at the café.

Sylvia     : hai Nat, sorry if I’m late

Natalie  : no problem

Sylva      : okay, what happen with you?

Natalie  : oh, you’re my best friend. You always know if I have problem

Sylvia     : I know from your face. However you hide it. I always know you, Natalie. So, what’s your problem?

Nataie   : actually, it’s simple problem. I just don’t have idea for my article until now. I want discussion with you in order that I message you.

Sylva      : okay, when you must give that article to your boss?

Natalie  : tomorrow. This duty from one week ago, but I don’t have idea

Sylvia     : what’s your magazine theme for this week?

Natalie  : the theme is “Chocolatte”

Sylvia     : okay, in my opinion, you can make article about the benefit chocolate for beauty or the benefit eat chocolate when you feel sad.

Natalie  : hey, that’s good idea. Okay, I will use the second your idea for my duty.

Sylvia     : yeah, I hope you can make the best article. Although, you do this quickly

Natalie  : yes, I hope too. I will do this article after I buy some books

Sylvia     : do you want buy some books after this?

Natalie  : yes, do you want to join with me?

Sylvia     : may I?

Pengaruh Globalisasi Terhadap Budaya di Indonesia

Pendahuluan

Globalisasi adalah proses integrasi internasional yang terjadi karena pertukaran pandangan dunia, produk, pemikiran, dan aspek-aspek kebudayaan lainnya. Kemajuan infrastruktur transportasi dan telekomunikasi, termasuk kemunculan telegraf dan Internet, merupakan faktor utama dalam globalisasi yang semakin mendorong saling ketergantungan (interdependensi) aktivitas ekonomi dan budaya.

Meski sejumlah pihak menyatakan bahwa globalisasi berawal di era modern, beberapa pakar lainnya melacak sejarah globalisasi sampai sebelum zaman penemuan Eropa dan pelayaran ke Dunia Baru. Ada pula pakar yang mencatat terjadinya globalisasi pada milenium ketiga sebelum Masehi. Pada akhir abad ke-19 dan awal abad ke-20, keterhubungan ekonomi dan budaya dunia berlangsung sangat cepat.

Tidak dapat dipungkiri lagi bahwa Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang terkena dampak globalisasi, salah satunya globalisasi budaya. Tentunya globalisasi tersebut dapat memberikan dampak terhadap budaya di Indonesia, baik dampak positif maupun negatif. Oleh karena itu, penulis pada kesempatan kali ini akan membahas Pengaruh Globalisasi Terhadap Perkembangan Budaya di Indonesia.

Globalisasi Budaya

Globalisasi budaya meningkatkan kontak lintas budaya namun diiringi dengan berkurangnya keunikan komunitas yang dulunya terisolasi. Globalisasi juga merubah cara pandang sekolompok manusia maupun individu tentang pola berperilaku, pola berpakaian, pola kerja, dan lain lain. Hal ini karena masuknya pengaruh dari luar Indonesia. Sehingga saat ini, mayoritas penduduk Indonesia mulai ikut-ikutan trend asing. Salah satunya cara berbusana, tidak dapat dipungkiri lagi bahwa gaya berbusana di Indonesia sudah mengikuti trend barat. Seperti yang kita ketahui bahwa dahulu Indonesia sangat sopan dalam berbusana, akan tetapi pada saat ini sudah banyak pria maupun wanita menggunakan pakaian ketat, celana di atas lutut, baju di atas pusar dsb. Hal tersebut menegaskan bahwa kebudayaan di Indonesia telah terglobalisasi oleh pengaruh luar.
